SAN MARINO LIVE IN THE CITY 2012 - 1st edition

Friday, July 20th and Saturday, July 21st – Cava Antica Square - Historic Centre of San Marino, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage sites, from 7/7/2008

After the huge success of various events in San Marino since 2010, such as 80s MUSIC PARTY, FUN&MUSIC WEEKEND,  SAN MARINO SUMMER LIVE , Fun4all presents its  first major summer event in the heart of the historic centre: SAN MARINO LIVE IN THE CITY.  The the first edition of a 2-day music festival, which is dedicated this year to the music of the 80s, to give color, melody and desire to enjoy the summer 2012 in San Marino, in a highly attractive location such as Cava Antica (parking lot # 6).

Friday, July 20th – MARGO’ 80 in concert. One of the best Italian 80s tribute and cover band, playing  in particular  Disco-Pop, the music which characterized the parties and discos of that period. The strength of the band is to be able to offer a compelling and engaging show, right from the start .... A true "Dance Party". The MARGO ‘ 80 sound is TOTALLY LIVE, without any backing tracks. Saturday, July 21st - Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet with his band. An exclusive event, a concert of one of the most representative and popular singers of the 80s. Tony Hadley, the lead singer of Spandau Ballet, and his band (with John Keeble of Spandau on drums), sing some of the most beautiful songs of the best ever British group, as well as songs written as a soloist. Memorable songs of Spandau as GOLD, ONLY WHEN YOU LEAVE, LIFELINE, THROUGH THE BARRICADES, TRUE and many others  are performed by the historical voice of the band.  The band broke up  in 1990, but Tony continued his work as a solo artist, recording 2 albums. 20 years later, Spandau reformed in 2009 with the album ONCE MORE. After a tour with Spandau, Tony continued to perform with his own band and in August 2011 he performed again in the United States after 15 years. It will be a real honor for the Republic of San Marino to host, for the first time, a show of this great artist.
